Kathrin Burmester continues her examination of the aesthetics of power structures in her new piece Tour. Tour employs a one-channel video projection and sound installation, which engages the viewer’s relationship to packaged travel tours complete with guided narrations that broadcast and disseminate information meant to promote location as a consumable product.
